FREE and Disney? What?

Disney can be super expensive, be sure to add these into your next Disney itinerary to help save some $$ on your next trip!

Disney Springs – This is such a fun spot to walk around! Window shop, grab some lunch, go for a boat ride or just wander! Play with Legos at the Lego store, enjoy live entertainment, grab a sweet treat, check out the largest Disney shop and more!

Visit the animals at Animal Kingdom Lodge – This resort is amazing! You can visit either side of the resort to check out the animals roaming in the savannah. You will see so much wildlife! If you go either in the morning or evening, they feed the animals here, so that is the best viewing time!

 

Pool Day – Disney just does it right! Pool days are the best! Often there are games, dance parties and more hosted at the pools each day by cast members! Moderate and Deluxe resorts often have water slides and splash parks! This is a great way to spend a day!

Resort Hop – You can check out any resort simply by taking the bus to any park and hopping in the bus line for your desired resort! The theming is amazing, each resort has different amenities, playgrounds, beach areas games and activities!

 

Boardwalk – Wander the shops, grab a snack and a beverage! Lots of live entertainment for all ages! This is the most fun in the evenings. Make a smore on the beach at Yacht/Beach Club, play carnival games and enjoy the entertainment, take a boat ride, catch a movie on the lawn at The Boardwalk, watch the EPCOT Fireworks, and adults can visit the Dance Hall or Deuling Piano bars.

Fireworks at the Polynesian – Head over to Poly to watch the Magic Kingdom Fireworks. They have a great beach area where you can see them perfectly! Be sure to check times and get there early enough to snag a drink or dole whip and head down to get a spot! You can also view them from the Contemporary and Grand Floridian.

Electrical Water Pageant – Visit any monorail resort, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness to view the boat parade. Check with the front desk or on the My Disney Experience App for show times.

Take a boat ride – either at Port Orleans or the Boardwalk. Just hop on and take a ride!

Play Mini Golf* - Although this is a paid activity typically when booking with a travel agent you get a free round of mini golf! And like everything else at Disney, the theming is outstanding! Two courses, Fantasia Gardens near the Swan and Dolphin Hotel, and Winter Summerland is near Blizard Beach!

Take a ride on the Monorail - The monorail goes around in a circle servicing Magic Kingdom, The Ticket and Transportation Center as well as the Polynesian, Grand Floridian and Contemporary. Take it for a ride around the loop, get off and explore the different resorts! These are some of the nicest resorts! Great shops, restaurants and bars! This is super fun for an adult-only bar crawl!

Visit the Butterfly Gardens - located in Fort Wilderness Lodge, open to the public.

Campfire Sing Along with Chip and Dale - also located at Wilderness Lodge, sing along around the campfire while roasting marshmallows! Chip and Dale frequent this event!
